For the second year, Treeline has partnered up with the amazing team of dedicated Treeline Inc volunteers at Rosie's Placevolunteers at Rosie’s Place.

Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Rosie’s Place provides a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women. They provide meals and shelter to over 12,000 women each year. Rosie’s Place is run solely on donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations. They do not accept city, state, or federal funding.

Last year, we had the chance to first volunteer at Rosie’s Place and we absolutely loved it. We were able to cook and serve dinner to nearly 100 women in a few hours. It was extremely humbling and felt great to give back. It’s not about just donating money. It’s about just giving you time. It’s having a conversation with someone. It’s treating everyone with respect. It’s about making someone smile. It’s about being of service to other people.

This year we decided to partner up again with Rosie’s Place. This year we were able to bring some new team members as well as some veterans, and the response was the same. Everyone enjoyed the experience and would not only do it again, but would recommend any one or any company to do the same.

If you’re looking for a way to give back this year, consider volunteering at Rosie’s Place. You can learn more here.
