This Director of Marketing is a high-visibility role within a scaling B2B software company, offering direct executive access, autonomy to build marketing processes from scratch, and serving as the foundation for a future Chief Marketing Officer position!
Job Description:
- The Director of Marketing will split time between product marketing, which includes owning positioning, messaging, and competitive narrative, and demand generation.
- The Director of Marketing will lead and execute the full demand generation engine, including content marketing, paid media, email nurture programs, webinars, and events, while setting and tracking pipeline contribution targets in partnership with the sales team.
- Manage a lean internal marketing team and oversee external contractors/agencies to execute a cohesive marketing strategy, aligning all efforts with revenue and growth goals.
- 5-10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a proven track record in both product marketing and demand generation for enterprise software
- Ideal candidates will be a builder with a hands-on mindset, not afraid to step in to write content, build campaigns and launch programs.
- Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms and a data-driven approach to measuring pipeline contribution and campaign ROI.
Location: This is a remote opportunity where ideal candidates will be based East of the Mississippi in the Eastern or Central Time Zones
