Our client is a rapidly growing, tech-focused residential construction lender specializing in flexible capital solutions for retail real estate investors. The company has experienced significant expansion, originating over $1.3 billion in real estate investment loans in the last 10 years, with 2025 volume on track to break $700 million. The firm is now seeking an entrepreneurial sales leader to scale its high-ROI, relationship-focused outreach model and build out a high-performing sales organization for continued expansion.
Job Description:
- This Vice President of Sales will oversee team performance and cultivate a client-first culture by utilizing CRM systems, managing key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring strong, long-term relationship management with repeat real estate developer clients
- A key factor of success will be leading the recruitment and development of a high-performing team, transforming the sales culture and scaling the organization to approximately 5-10 representatives in the first year.
- Develop and execute the comprehensive sales playbook and training materials to professionalize and scale the existing outreach-driven sales campaign..
Requirements:
- Experience Profile: 5+ Years of Direct Sales Leadership Experience: Proven track record in growing and scaling a sales organization and building teams, ideally 10+ people from the ground up
- Industry Expertise: Ideal candidates will bring industry expertise in one of the following: Construction Lending, Regional banks or credit unions (which also do construction lending), Private banking and Mortgage.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Candidates should be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment with limited built-in systems, demonstrating a strong drive and a willingness to be "boots on the ground" while building the sales strategy
Location: This is a remote role where ideal candidates will be based in CA or WA; Candidates based in the Greater Palo Alto, CA area will have the option of working from an office.
