Location: This is a remote position where ideal candidates must be based in Dayton, OH. Travel 60% + to conduct onsite inspections, and meet potential buyers within the assigned territory.

They have laid a strong foundation and are now ready to scale and expand their team. They are looking for a Security Sales Engineer to join their Dayton, OH based sales team.
Job Description:
- The Sales Engineer will prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers and contractors
- The Sales Engineer will serve as the technical sales lead, bridging between customer requirements, design teams, and operations, ensuring solution integrity, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- The Sales Engineer will design, propose, and sell integrated security and life-safety systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and integration with fire alarm systems) to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience in low-voltage security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion)
- Proven track record in technical sales, with a deep understanding of security systems, IP Networking, PoE, Switches, VLANS and cabling
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to perform site surveys and read construction drawings
