Our client is a fast-growing, global supplier of niche electrical mechanical solutions. They operate in a dynamic startup culture, while being backed by a large, financially secure parent company. Our client is growing their new business team in North America and looking for candidates with a targeted approach to business development, strong drive and desire to contribute to ambitious growth targets.
Job Description:
- Lead Generation and Customer Development: This includes creating targeting plans, proactively engaging potential customers, and developing key accounts to increase business.
- Relationship Building and Networking: Focus on nurturing relationships, attending industry events, and maintaining detailed records in the CRM system
- Quoting, Proposals, and Target Management: Preparing proposals, managing sales pipelines, and ensuring forecasts meet sales targets.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience selling wires, interconnects, micro connectors, connectors, semiconductor or similar solutions to the Aerospace and Defense markets
- Previous experience or knowledge of new technologies like UAVs and unmanned systems
- Strong business development and sales skills; will maintain and grow a book of business while also hunting for net new accounts
Location: This is a remote opportunity where candidates must be comfortable working flex hours as needed and traveling to customers throughout North America (upwards of 50% travel based on location).
