They are on a mission to help finance departments improve their cash flow and manage risk and are looking for a Director of Sales to oversee their growing and expanding sales organization!
Job Description: Key responsibilities and day-to-day activities for the Director of Sales will be focused on three key areas, leading your team, executing sales strategy, and collaborating across the company
- Lead a High-Performing Sales Team: You will recruit, build, and lead a team of sales professionals, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement. This includes refining sales processes, providing accurate forecasts, and optimizing CRM systems.
- Drive Strategic Revenue Growth: You will develop and execute a scalable sales strategy, driving revenue through both outbound and inbound initiatives. Your time will be spent identifying, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value deals with C-level stakeholders while also building strategic partnerships for market expansion.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will act as a key connector between sales and other departments, collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure go-to-market strategies are aligned. You'll also use market feedback from sales demos to help inform and guide new product development.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in a SaaS sales environment with at least 3 years managing a team of closers handling complex deals in the $50k-$500k range
- A deep understanding of sales methodologies like MEDDIC and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Must be a strong mentor and coach and have a desire to lead and manage from the front lines
Location: This is an in-person position and candidates will be expected to report to a Greater Chicago / Schaumburg Area office daily.
