Job Description: The Sales Manger is a unique role that combines both leadership and hands-on selling as a player-coach. In this position, you're responsible for guiding and coaching a team of sales advisors while also actively engaging in the sales process yourself. This means you'll be helping your team source leads, close deals, and represent your company's products or services.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to drive sales growth, exceed targets, and close deals.
- Leadership: The Manager will lead and coach a team of 6-8 outside sales representatives spanning across NY, NJ and PA.
- Revenue: Drive New Business Sales: While overseeing the entire sales number, a key focus will be on driving new business acquisition and significantly growing custom solutions for turnkey solutions, field advisory services, and paid training.
Requirements:
- 3-10 years of direct sales leadership experience, with a player-coach mentality and ability to build playbooks and mentor an up and coming team.
- Must have: Industrial B2B Sales Experience: experience with fluid systems or a adjacent technical field is a nice to have
- In-depth knowledge of CRM software, sales tools, and performance metrics.
Location: Candidates should be centrally located within New Jersey / New York / Pennsylvania region and have the ability to travel with the team to meet on-site with customers 75% of the time while spending 1 day/week in the office in PA or NJ.
