Job Description: The Sourcing & Procurement Manager role focuses on strategic procurement, supply chain management, and team leadership. The day to day will consist of:  

• Strategic Sourcing and Cost Management: You develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers to get the best prices and terms, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability while reducing costs.
• Logistics and Inventory Oversight: You manage the entire flow of materials, from forecasting demand and overseeing inbound/outbound logistics to managing on-site inventory and resolving any supply chain issues.
• Team Leadership and Process Improvement: You lead and mentor a team of procurement and logistics staff, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure all activities comply with company policies and quality standards.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience sourcing and negotiating purchasing agreements for complex equipment projects with budgets of $5-50 million or more
• Proven experience overseeing logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
• Must have experience using ERP Systems, procurement systems and similar logistics management tools to organize workflow across multiple departments 

Location & Working Environment: This is a remote opportunity where ideal candidates will be located in the Greater Houston, TX market, but remote applicants are encouraged to apply. Anticipated travel up to 25% as needed to clients and vendors.
