Job Description:
- Strategy: Lead a Sales Rebuild and Growth Strategy: This role involves a complete overhaul of the current sales process, compensation plan, and team structure, with a focus on implementing a metrics-driven, proactive sales culture to achieve significant company growth (from $50M to $100M revenue).
- Leadership: Manage and Develop the Sales Team: The Director will lead and coach a team of six (growing to ten) outside sales representatives, evaluating performance, setting accountability, and developing new market-based teams, alongside a geography-based team.
- Revenue: Drive New Business and Solutions Sales: While overseeing the entire sales number, a key focus will be on driving new business acquisition and significantly growing custom solutions for turnkey solutions, field advisory services, and paid training.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of direct sales leadership experience, preferably at the director level, with a demonstrated ability to rebuild and professionalize a sales organization
- Must have industry experience within Industrial B2B Sales Leadership and leading direct field-based sales organizations
- Prior experience creating sales playbooks, implementing formal training, defining processes and KPIs, as well as modeling compensation plans at a $50m-100m organization.
Location: Reporting to an office 2 days a week in the Greater Burlington, MA Area and 3 days a week traveling throughout the Northeast Region with the sales team.
