Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager is a proactive problem solver responsible for managing all aspects of multi-component wastewater-to-energy plant delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget. This role encompasses strategic project governance, coordinating internal and external resources for site engineering, construction, and commissioning, and acting as the primary customer contact from commercial handoff to final project approval.
- Manage project delivery: You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle for multi-component wastewater-to-energy plants, from the initial handoff to final completion. This includes coordinating with internal and external teams, subcontractors, and customers.
- Coordinate with stakeholders: You will serve as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and various subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination of project activities, on-site work, and project milestones.\
- Oversee project resources: You will be in charge of managing project budgets, schedules, and documentation. You will also be responsible for allocating and prioritizing internal engineering resources and responding to any escalated project issues.
Requirements:
- Mid-Senior level experience: 5-7+ years of experience managing complex equipment projects with budgets of $5-50 million or more
- Experience managing projects across water, wastewater, food and beverage, construction projects, or similar industries is ideal.
- Engineering and project management skills: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or construction management is required, along with top-notch project management skills, including familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project.
Location & Working Environment: This is a hybrid opportunity where ideal candidates will be located in the Greater Houston Area. Anticipated travel up to 25% as needed to clients and vendors.
