Job Description:
The ideal candidate is a proven VP of Sales with a strong track record in a software sales environment, including experience growing sales teams by building a scalable and repeatable process.
- Growing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from 1.5 to 5 million.
- Implementing sales operations, revenue operations, and governance.
- Hiring, Managing and developing a sales team including account executives and a director of partnerships.
- Building relationships within the education industry and managing conference/travel budget.
- Opportunity to grow into a potential Chief Revenue Officer role as the company scales.
Requirements:
- Proven experience scaling an early stage start-up company from $1m - $5m ARR.
- Ideal candidates will have proven K-12 Edtech sales experience, or experience selling $10-$50k ARR deals to c-suite decision makers
- Proven success in building, leading, and scaling national sales teams to quota.
Location: This is a remote position where candidates must be based in either Eastern or Central time zones with the ability to travel to conferences and events 4-5x/month.
