Job Description:
- The Academic Advisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the positive academic experience and success of our students. You will serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding, retention, and completion advising, guiding students through their educational journey from enrollment to graduation.
- The Academic Advisor will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with students, providing academic and career guidance, and connecting students to campus resources as needed.
- The Academic Advisor will be responsible for reviewing student progress, ensuring satisfactory academic performance, and assisting with registration for upcoming terms.
- Bachelor’s degree / Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in student advising or related field.
- Excellent initiative and organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to work with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Location: New Gloucester, Maine — This is a in-office position.
