Our client has been in business for over 25 years and is one of the leading commercial roofing organizations in the Northeast. They work solely within the commercial business sector, with a primary focus on flat-rubber roofing. They expanded their salesforce into Massachusetts 10 years ago and are continuing to scale and grow their market presence. Due to a recent promotion, they are are searching for a talented sales professional, familiar with project-based sales to join their team.
Job Description:
- The Outside Territory Sales Manager will be targeting commercial B2B roofing project opportunities throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
- The Outside Territory Sales Manager will identify and target potential customers through referrals, networking and cold-calling/knocking, as well as following up with inbound leads.
- The Outside Territory Sales Manager must be able to multi-task and oversee multiple projects at once, from initial consultation and quoting through project delivery and close.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of outside field sales experience, with a preference for candidates who have sold project-based services, ideally within construction or roofing.
- Ability to engage with potential customers and customize your sales approach to win their confidence and their business.
- Upbeat, positive and outgoing personality with the ability to work independently
- Valid Driver's License Required; Ability to climb and carry a ladder & lift upwards of 50lbs as needed
