They have been in business for over 25 years and are looking to scale their GTM function by bringing on a talent Sales Engineer to support their Remote Sales Team in the Western US Region.
Job Description:
- The Sales Engineer will be the key technical pre-sales support person for the Enterprise AEs and will be focused on driving business and technical conversations around solutions and services in a customer facing role..
- The Sales Engineer will be communicating with C-Suite Executives as well as Technical, IT and Engineering personas and thought leaders and must be able to articulate the value prop accordingly
- The Sales Engineer must be comfortable in a solution/customized sales environment, gathering requirements and providing SOWs with internal and external teams.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a technical role, ideally as a pre-sales engineer or solutions architect focused on datacenter solutions
- Experience working on requirements and SOWs for $1m+ hardware deals, with experience working within Windows Servers, Virtualization, and Linux configurations and maintenance.
- Strong sales and business acumen with the ability to effectively communicate and consult with clients on their hardware needs
Location: This is a remote opportunity where ideal candidates will be based West of the Mississippi with target markets of California, Seattle, Denver and Minneapolis.
