Company Profile:
Our client has been in business in the waste management and sustainability space for over a decade. They have grown their portfolio of services through acquisition and are looking to continue to expand their foothold within the retail space, focusing on regional grocery chains. They are looking to bring on a talent Sales Director to focus on net new business and account management with accounts based throughout the United States.
Job Description:
- The Sales Director will be focused on nurturing and growing an existing book of business while also bringing on net new business within the retail grocery space.
- The Sales Director must be comfortable selling at the corporate level and working with Sustainability, Operations and Waste Management decision makers
- The Sales Director will need to work cross functionally within the organization for customer support, account management, finance and legal.
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience selling within the retail grocery space at the regional or corporate level
- Previous experience selling services is ideal, with experience selling and negotiating million dollar contracts
- Confidence and ability to facilitate executive level conversations in a face to face manner with excellent contract negotiation skills.
Location: This is a remote role where candidates can be located anywhere in the Eastern or Central time zones, with the expectation of 30-40% travel, including some overnights.
