Our client is a $50m organization that still operates as a start-up and is transitioning from founder-led sales to building their first sales team in the United States. They provide risk management, compliance and governance services around supply chain management to the top brands and retailers throughout the world. They boast a client list of familiar names like Patagonia, Chanel, Amazon and Target to name a few. They have brought on the sales leadership and are now ready to add to that with a SDR Director who will build and lead the enterprise SDR team focused on new business.
Job Description:
- The Director of Sales Development will be building, onboarding, hiring and leading a SDR team focused on global accounts.
- The Director of Sales Development will coach and mentor the team on proper discovery and qualification techniques focused on new logos with an average deal of $200k-$500k+
- The Director of Sales Development must be dynamic and able to motivate and drive success towards KPI achievement.
Requirements:
- 7+ years total experience, with at least 3 years of experience leading SDR or BDR teams in an Enterprise Subscription based/SaaS environment
- Previous experience building out the SDR function including hiring, onboarding and creating playbooks and strategy
- Confidence and ability to coach and run discovery at the executive level
Location: This role will be reporting to an office based in Washington, DC and candidates will be on-site daily working with the inside sales team.
