Our client is a leader in distributing power, motion control, electrical, transmission and bearings space. They have been in business for over 100 years and have an extremely strong brand. They are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to manage a book of existing accounts focused on expansion net new growth.
Job Description:
- The Outside Sales Representative will establish scale and profitability by helping professionalize the company’s go-to-market strategy, continue to build existing relationships and close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.
- The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and expanding territory by calling into Manufactures and budling relationships with points of contact.
- The Outside Sales Representative will develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure company is meeting customers expectations.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of selling products related to, but not limited to powertrain, and automated products such as motors, fluid power, brakes, drums etc.
- Proven track record in technical sales, with a deep understanding the manufacturing space
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to assess client needs, propose solutions, and effectively close sales.
- Need to be comfortable with regional travel.
Location: This is a outside sales position where ideal candidates must be based in and around the Windsor Locks, CT area. Travel 80% to conduct onsite visits with potential buyers and existing clients within the assigned territory.

Base Salary: $70,000-$75,000
Total Compensation: $80,000-$85,000
Company Car or Car Allowance provided+ expenses.
