Our client is an independent hotel in Boston that has been in business for over 20 years.  They have numerous awards and accolades for their exceptional services and unrivaled commitment to customer satisfaction. They have bounced back and are growing their sales organization, looking for a mature, customer service oriented Sales Manager who has experience in the hotel sales processes and functions.


Job Description:

• The Sales Manager will be responsible for selling meeting/event spaces, guest rooms, food and beverage services, and other hotel services.
• The Sales Manager will be the sole point of contact for their clients, running the process from initial lead qualification through proposal generation, and then handling all aspects of the booking from the space to the catering and services and invoicing.
• The Sales Manager is committed to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry. 
• The Sales Manager will coordinate and communicate event logistics and timelines with other departments in order to meet and exceed client expectations.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the hospitality space.
• Mature, customer-centric, and fully competent individual who has experience in the hotel sales processes and functions.
• Proven customer service experience, strong guest-focused mentality, and excellent communication and organization skills.

Location: This is an on-site sales opportunity where candidates must be based in the Greater Boston, MA area and will report to the hotel daily.

Base Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 
Total Comp: $90,000 - $100,000
