Our client is a global leader and multi-billion-dollar organization within the semiconductor industry. They have a strong brand presence and work with key accounts such as Facebook, Apple, Google, Amazon, and more.  They are looking for a Field Applications Engineer in the Great Lakes Region to focus specifically within their Mixed Signal Design team, focused on key accounts in industrial automation, manufacturing, automotive and more throughout the territory. 

Job Description:

• The Field Applications Engineer will be tasked with supporting the Sales Team focused on closing business and winning product design across multiple verticals. 
• The Field Applications Engineer must be comfortable supporting all pre-sales and product-based initiatives, such as product demonstration, product design, creating business cases, POCs, etc.
• The Field Applications Engineer will work closely with external and internal resources and must be comfortable presenting with key stakeholders across the business such as marketing, product, sales, management and engineering.

Requirements:

• 5-10+ years of experience as a Field Applications Engineer, Design Engineer, Applications Engineer or Product Engineer in a semiconductor environment
• Previous experience working with or designing systems within Analog Mixed Signal Circuits or Power and Systems Development, including FPGAs, RF and Ethernet
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

Location: This is a remote opportunity but candidates must be located in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA Area; travel up to 35% as needed to key accounts throughout the Great Lakes Region
