Company Profile:

Our client is the education division of a highly respected biomedical research institute, providing professional development, coaching, and inquiry-based learning programs to K-12 schools nationwide. With strong existing traction and a mission to expand national impact, they are adding a second outside sales representative to help drive growth beyond their established regional base.

Job Description:

• Sell Professional Development: Build relationships with K-12 principals, curriculum developers, and district administrators, generating and qualifying interest through outbound prospecting, referrals, and inbound marketing leads.
• Deliver a Consultative Sale: Partner with internal subject-matter experts to build customized professional development plans tailored to each school's specific needs.
• Drive National Growth: Execute territory expansion strategy while maintaining and growing an already strong regional customer base.

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience specifically within K-12 education (selling curriculum, assessments, software, hardware, or similar products into schools or districts).
• A consultative, relationship-driven sales approach suited to a longer, trust-based sales cycle.
• Strong communication skills and comfort operating with a blend of inside and outside sales responsibilities.

Location: This is a Hybrid based sales role where candidates must reside in the Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan Area and be willing to get to an office a few times a week when necessary
