Our client is rapidly transforming the corporate security space, their platform helps companies aggregate data sources to proactively identify and mitigate physical and digital risks for Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies. With a recent Series C close, nearly $500 million in funding, and sales that have more than doubled annually, our client is in an aggressive growth phase, investing heavily in AI to solidify its position as the industry benchmark. This Strategic Account Manager role offers the chance to sell a disruptive, first-of-its-kind solution to F1000 organizations and the opportunity to make a massive impact on the safety of people and places!

Job Description: 
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) will own a book of approximately 25 Fortune 1000/500 accounts with a primary focus on expansion (75%) and a secondary focus on strategic retention (25%). This is a high-impact, revenue-focused role designed for a commercially driven professional who excels at uncovering growth opportunities within established enterprise relationships.

  • Territory Strategy and Prospecting: Create and execute sophisticated account growth strategies for a defined F1000 portfolio. You will proactively identify and qualify expansion opportunities, including upsells, cross-sells, and expansion, while managing a robust pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Full Account Ownership: Monitor relationships with the account, proactively identify risks, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate churn.
  • Consultative Selling and Target Achievement: Build relationships with multiple stakeholders, present a compelling case for change through storytelling and consultative conversations, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets while documenting pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of full cycle SaaS/B2B sales roles, with experience selling software solutions in a complex, enterprise sales environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of long-term success having consistently exceeded six-figure quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of a territory, identify opportunities, and adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape.

Location: This is a remote opportunity with an expectation of meeting with clients 25%.
