Boston, MA – Our Client is a unique lender. They work with business owners in the construction and forestry industry. Their customers don't have the best credit score, so when they can't work with big banks, they work with our client. They have been very stable for a few years now with not much growth, so they realized they need to develop a sales force to really ramp the business up and grow it aggressively.
- As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring net new business.
- Our client is a direct lender in the construction, forestry and trucking industries serving New England so travel in the New England region is required.
- An outgoing, energetic and impactful personality is required for our culture and competitive environment.
- Ability to originate new business with dealers, corporations and end-users.
- Work with customers to identify their capital needs and how to best achieve their goals.
- Help customers determine suitability for different financing options between "In-house" direct lending program and third party funding platforms.
- 1-5 years Sales experience
- Degree required
- Equipment Financing or Equipment Sales is helpful
- Professional relationship driven personality
- Competitive attitude and genuine interest in the capital equipment market
- Comfortable with travel and working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Dynamic personality and strong work ethic
Location: Reporting daily to the MA office; After ramp up: Traveling throughout New England.
