Our Client is transforming the world with their technology. They have an opensource and commercial offering of their application development software. Due to their continued success in 2020, they are expanding their team and looking to add a Key Account Manager to specifically focus on the Defense & Aerospace Accounts.

Job Description:

--The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of existing Aerospace/Defense accounts, including clients such as Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, as with a primary focus on upsell and expansion.
--This Key Account Manager must be seen as a leader and partner - someone who can foster long-term trust, build relationships, inspire organic growth, and have a seat at the table when discussing market strategy.
--The Key Account Manager must have the ability to speak and close business with Federal Accounts in the engineering and developer departments.


--5+ Years of Federal Key Account Management or Defense & Aerospace Accounts sales experience within a SaaS organization
--Experience selling software development, application development, embedded technology, or a similar software solution
--Preference for experience with an OSS (Open-Source Software)
--Bachelor’s Degree Required

Location: Ideal Candidates will be located in either Boston, MA (Office Based) or Washington, DC (Remote) with the ability to travel to clients as necessary
