Our client is a leading brokerage firm for electronic components, finished goods, and technology. With over 30 years of experience in the electronics' supply chain and open market distribution, this organization works with major OEMs and CEMs in the Computer, Telecommunication, Automotive and Consumer Electronic industries to deliver the products and services they need today. Despite delays and shortages in the industry due to Covid-19, they have continued to find success and growth and are looking to expand their team of Account Managers throughout the United States.
--The Account Manager will be focused on both buying and selling electronic components in a "brokerage" model to their accounts
--The Account Manager will act as consultant with their dedicated book of business but will also be expected to hunt and bring in new business which they will keep and manage
--The Account Manager must be confident, sales savvy and willing to pick up the phone to make deals happen - this includes creating opportunity, negotiating on pricing and closing deals.
--2+ years of experience with technology brokerage, components brokerage, or selling refurbished electronics and equipment
--Intelligent, aggressive and money motivated with an ability to form lasting relationships
--Four year college degree is strongly preferred but not required.
Location: This is an inside, office-based sales position with no travel; Preference for candidates based in Boston, MA or Austin, TX. Will also consider candidates with industry experience anywhere in the US.
Base Comp: $60,000 - $65,000
Total Comp: $80,000 - $110,000
