The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for closing new business within a U.S. territory. You will be responsible for meeting directly with potential customers and performing product demonstrations. You will be selling directly into schools and universities. You will also have the support of an inside sales team which will be prospecting and passing off qualified leads. The position will involve 40-50% travel throughout the country.
Candidates must have 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of success. Technology related experience is preferred. Must have experience in an outside sales role, closing new business. Excellent presentation and communication skills are required. Must be comfortable in a start-up environment. Bachelors degree required, MBA a plus.
